Indayog Means To Groove
Updated: May 3, 2021
While Scarlet Gum are mastering their new single that is due to be released next month, I decided to release a new song called Indayog, a Tagalog word meaning "to groove. " So in this song I am asking.. actually begging the listener to move and groove.
I wrote the song a couple of years ago as a swing number complete with horns and upright. But the final version I decided on is a return to my guitar-based rock-ska-punk days.
I enjoyed playing and recording this track as it has that raw energy that is perfect to play live. Gear list:
Guitar: Rickenbacker 330 on a Spark Amp 40- miked!
Bass: Fender American Standard Jazz Bass on an SW bass amp - Miked!
Drums: Ludwig Oyster Pearl
Track and Mixed at NSFU
Mastered at Abbey Road
